Solihull industrial development hits the market

A Solihull freehold industrial development site, which agents say could be used as a retail warehouse, car showroom, or distribution warehouse, has come to the market.

16 Highlands Road is a 17,300 sq ft warehouse building, with 6,534 sq ft of office space over two floors on a 0.7 acre site.

The property is located on Highlands Road which connects directly to A34 Stratford Road and is close to a number of car dealerships, retail warehouses and distribution units.

Kenny Allan, director of industrial agency at KWB, is marketing 16 Highlands Road on behalf of Hortons’ Estate.

He said: “Such large, well positioned sites come to the market very rarely in this area of Solihull.  Although it is also available leasehold, we expect the freehold to be of greatest interest as a redevelopment opportunity for retailers, car dealerships, developers and warehouse occupiers.”

Quoting prices are £2.25m for the freehold, or a rent of £145,000 a year.
