Investment leads to lettings success at industrial estate

One of two units recently refurbished at Bescot Point Walsall has been let.

After a refurbishment by Buccleuch Property, Unit 1, which extends to 23,973 sq ft, has been let to an exhibition company which is now in occupation.

The two units at Bescot Point were acquired by Buccleuch, an Edinburgh-based property investor and developer, in a £1.65m deal in August last year.

The remaining 28,169 sq ft unit, complete with ancillary offices and car parking, is available to lease.

Matt Tilt, industrial and logistics director at LSH in Birmingham, said: “It’s great news that we have been able to complete a lease with a new occupier so soon after Buccleuch Property invested in a thorough refurbishment.

“The location of these units provides excellent connectivity via the Midlands motorway network, which is a real benefit to occupiers working across the region. These units provide an excellent platform for businesses to grow and expand their operations.

“There is a huge shortage of similar properties across the region and we were not surprised when we received a lot of interest from potential occupiers.”
