Law firm Emms Gilmore Liberson (EGL) has boosted its property litigation division with a senior appointment.

Perveen Kaur Dhami joins the Birmingham-based practice as associate director from Anthony Collins Solicitors.

She will work alongside partner Martyn Liberson in developing the law firm’s growing national and international property litigation client base.

Kaur Dhami has more than 12 years’ experience in dealing with property disputes for clients in a range of sectors, including major high street retailers, developers, investors, social housing associations, charities and local authorities.

She has previously held positions at international law firms Gowling WLG and Squire Patton Boggs, where she worked for almost 15 years.

Kaur Dhami said: “I’m really pleased to be joining EGL as part of its renowned property litigation team.

“EGL has continued to grow consistently since its formation and I’m excited to be part of its future.”

Liberson added: “Perveen is a highly skilled and trained lawyer who has often been described by her clients as ‘pragmatic and efficient’ in finding the best solution. She has experience across a range of complex property disputes which complements our hugely talented property litigation team.

“Perveen’s appointment gives us further opportunity to develop and service our rapidly expanding client base locally, nationally and overseas.”
