Bed retailer to launch £3.5m warehouse

Bed retailer Time4Sleep is launching a £3.5m warehouse in the West Midlands, which the company says will be a key driver of future growth and development.
Established in 2006, Time4Sleep will unveil the next phase of its ambitious growth plan away from its current West Yorkshire home, with a purpose built warehouse launching in Willenhall next month.
At 35,000 sq ft, the warehouse will enable the company to triple its stock holding capacity, with the aim of delivering all stock items by the next working day.
The warehouse will initially create five jobs with plans to expands the team further in the coming months.
Jonathan Warren, CEO at Time4Sleep, said: “The launch of our new warehouse is a significant step in our goal of building a sustainable business in the long-term. Our central location and increase in stock capacity will mean all stock items can be delivered from the new warehouse by the next working day.
“In a period of financial uncertainty for the retail sector, our business continues to flourish.
“After 13 years of trading from our West Yorkshire base, this move will kick-start a whole new cycle of growth for our business. Providing a clean, modern working environment ensures we can continue to advance the quality of service to our customers throughout the UK.”
The warehouse was built by AH Construction and the finance provided by Yorkshire Bank.
