Landmark leisure venue fully let for first time in years

One of Birmingham’s best-known leisure venues is fully let for the first time in a number of years after a restaurant operator signed up for the only available unit.

Rozu Restaurant, a pan-Asian /Western fusion restaurant, is already undertaking extensive refurbishment works at the 2746 sq ft first-floor unit. situated next to Teppanyaki, at The Arccadian and hopes to open next month.

It has agreed a 10-year lease with property and investment company LCP, which owns and manages the city centre venue.

Rory May, of Rozu Restaurant, said: “I’m excited to bring this concept to The Arcadian, bringing even more colour and vibrancy to this popular leisure venue.

Once the restaurant is fully open, May expects to create 20 jobs.

Jo Kinsella, centre manager, said: “The Arcadian has long been a popular and vibrant city centre venue that has a huge range of restaurants, bars, clubs and shops and we are pleased to welcome yet another high-quality operator. Rozu completes what is a diverse offering here and we are confident that it complements perfectly the dining options already here.”
