Director appointment at CBRE
CBRE has appointed Luke Thacker as an associate director in its industrial and logistics team in Birmingham.
Thacker joins from Avison Young (formerly GVA), where he worked for 15 years, including a secondment to KPMG’s national property team.
At CBRE, he will work alongside the national business team and regional offices to provide development advice to industrial developers and acquisition and disposal advice to clients specialising in the industrial and logistics sector.
Thacker is the second senior appointment in CBRE’s Birmingham industrial and logistics team in recent months. In July, Peter Monks joined as a director from Colliers International to head up the team.
Monks said: “We are continuing to build a market leading team in the Midlands, with unrivalled sector knowledge and experience to help clients capitalise on the opportunities within the industrial and logistics sector.
“Luke’s appointment adds another string to our bow and will enable us to push the business on further.”
During the first half of 2019, CBRE’s industrial and logistics team was involved in lettings on some of the region’s major schemes, including Mount Park Bardon, Prologis Birmingham Interchange and Segro East Midlands Gateway.
