Gym group signs for former Poundworld unit

The Gym has signed up to a former Poundworld unit at a Birmingham retail park.

The company has signed a 15 year lease on a 7,500 sq ft facility at Stechford Retail park.

The 104,090 sq ft park with 602 car parking spaces is home to Matalan, Home Bargains, Pets at Home, Peacocks, The Food Warehouse, Bensons for Beds, Argos, McDonalds Drive Thru and the recently signed B&M Retail for unit of 20,000 sq ft plus a new 5,000 sq ft garden centre.

Susan Harrison, of SPACE – Retail Property Consultants, said: “Stechford Retail Park is a strong retail park with a great mix of occupiers. We are delighted to have secured representation on behalf of The Gym here.”
