Newspaper relocates to new business quarter

The Hereford Times has moved into new offices at Hereford Enterprise Zone as it continues to develop as a digital media enterprise.
The newspaper, which was established in 1832, has started a new chapter at Stirling House at Skylon Park, which is part of the 50-hectare Hereford Enterprise Zone.
Skylon Park has been developed by Yorkshire-based commercial property specialists Priority Space.
Adam Richardson, co-director at Priority Space, said: “We are delighted to welcome the Hereford Times as the latest member to join Skylon Park.
“The business park is already a hive of activity and is the county’s new thriving business quarter. It’s the perfect new base for the Hereford Times as it looks to a digital future, while continuing to provide high-quality journalism for its loyal readers.”
Hereford Enterprise Zone is the only enterprise zone in the UK to have a dedicated defence and security sector focus. It is home to 41 businesses employing more than 750 people.
Millions of pounds has been invested into infrastructure and high-speed broadband which has attracted both UK and overseas companies, including US manufacturer Le Maitre Vascular.
Investors operating in offshore oil and gas, avionics manufacturing, advanced airborne systems and cyber security have all chosen to move into the enterprise zone. A further 1,000 jobs are expected to be created from the investment so far.
