A leading Midlands law firm is continuing to expand its litigation team following the arrival of two new property litigators.

Leamington-based Wright Hassall has appointed two experienced professionals to the property litigation team as Anna Albini and Perveen Dhami.

Anna joins the company as a partner, bringing with her 16 years of experience after qualifying and working for Weightmans and then, latterly at Birmingham firm Emms Gilmore Liberson where she worked with Perveen.

Perveen has over 13 years of experience in property litigation, having worked at Anthony Collins Solicitors, and then as associate director at Emms Gilmore Liberson.

She has also held positions at Gowling WLG, Squire Sanders LLP and Squire Patton Boggs.

Fit-out contractors Workspace Design & Build (D&B) has promoted Shaun Smith and Richard Barsby to the position of associate director, taking its directorship to six.

Mike Puttick will also be transferring across to the Midlands team to support the growth of the company and help deliver major projects in the region alongside key team member Daniel Davis.

Puttick joined Workspace in November 2017 as a contracts manager. Stepping into the role of associate director in 2019, he focuses on managing and overseeing all current projects from an operations standpoint.

Smith previously worked for the MoD as a project manager on civil and refurbishment schemes across multiple sectors and disciplines, including hospitals, residential, leisure, retail and workshops.

More recently he was responsible for a self-sufficient business unit at a well-established interior PLC company, creating sales, bidding, designing and delivering a wide variety of schemes for clients including JLR, Aviva, Adecco, NetApp, HTC, NEC and Coventry Building Society.

Barsby has 30 years of experience working alongside main contractors and also as lead building services manager. His previous clients include, JLR, Loughborough university, Ford and University College London.
