Bond Wolfe Auctions has been appointed as the preferred auctioneer by City of Wolverhampton Council.

The contract was won in a competitive tender and follows on from Bond Wolfe Auctions’ success in being appointed by Birmingham City Council and West Midlands Police in 2019 and Walsall Council earlier this year.

Bond Wolfe Auctions is also offering lots surplus to requirements for Sandwell Metropolitan Borough Council.

The announcement comes after Bond Wolfe Auctions set an impressive list of records at its February 2020 auction.

It raised over £20m, meaning that Bond Wolfe Auctions has raised over £101m in sales since the business was launched in January 2019 in just seven auctions.

The February auction saw 203 lots out of the 213 offered, giving a sales success rate of 96%.

Bond Wolfe Auctions’ next sale is scheduled for Wednesday 6 May at 10.30am at the regular venue of the Holte Suite, Aston Villa FC, in Birmingham.

Gurpreet Bassi, chief executive officer of Bond Wolfe Auctions said: “However, as the spread of Covid-19 continues, the safety and wellbeing of our clients and employees will be at the forefront of everything we do.

“We will, of course, continue to adhere strictly to Government advice, while remaining fully committed to providing an ongoing service to our clients.  We are therefore able to operate our auctions via our online platform or by holding a live remote bidding sale, should we be required to.”
