Revised plans for Jewellery Quarter residential scheme revealed

How the scheme could look

Amended plans have been submitted to Birmingham City Council that could see run down industrial buildings transformed into a 72 apartments and townhouses and retail or office space.

Elevate Property Group wants to build the scheme at Heaton House and land at Camden Street and Powell Street in the Jewellery Quarter.

The development, which will be designed by D5 Architects will be built over of 3-,4- and 5-storeys. It will include three 4-bedroom, 12 three-bed and 12 two-bed apartments along with 30 one-bedroom houses and flats along with over 4,000 sq ft of commercial floor space.

The plans include the retention and refurbishment of a Grade II listed villa in the middle of the site which will be converted into a four-bedroom house, and will be the centrepiece of the development, surrounded by courtyards.
