Developer grows Midlands portfolio with latest site acquisition

Developer Lovell Partnerships has secured a 24 acre site at Branson Locks in Burton on Trent.

It is anticipated that construction on the 190 open market and affordable houses at Lovell’s section of the 400-acre mixed-use scheme will begin in April 2021.

When complete, the overall Branston Locks scheme will provide a total of 2500 homes, alongside one million sq ft of commercial space, creating up to 3000 jobs, community facilities and extensive green infrastructure.

Lovell has submitted a planning application and anticipates that the first homes will be ready by October 2021.
