Work progresses on 90,000 sq ft office development

Steelwork has now begun at Prospero Ansty Park for the new 90,000 sq ft office development on behalf of gas distributor Cadent.

The purpose-built scheme will provide Cadent with a high-spec HQ which will be ready for occupation in early 2022.

The site is being developed by Manse Opus and funded by the Lime Property Fund, managed by Aviva Investors.

Manse Opus is a collaboration between Edinburgh based Manse and Opus Land. The company was appointed by Rolls-Royce, who own and partly occupy the park, to lead development and regeneration of surplus land.

This deal will be one of the UK’s largest out of town office lettings and it is the second pre-let by Manse Opus having recently completed the new headquarters comprising 495,000 sq ft of office for Meggitt, which was also funded by the Lime Property Fund.

Located six miles from Coventry city centre, the 196 acre site Prospero Ansty Park is capable of accommodating a further 1,500,000 sq ft, with potential to develop a single building of around one million sq ft.
