Developer unveils new business strategy for 2021

A West Midlands property company says it is entering a new era after launching a new development strategy.

Key Land Capital has launched two new divisions to coincide with a full re-brand of the business.

Key Build will deliver construction and development projects, while Key Spaces will provide building management services.

In the new year, it will also launch a new business providing high-tech, market-leading property investment opportunities.

Kevin Sharkey, director of Birmingham-based Key Land Capital, said: “The team here is excited by the new direction we’re taking, with a greater emphasis on residential homes, which is exactly what the market needs right now and into the medium term.

“We have spent the last few months reviewing our purpose and refining the propositions we want to offer our customers, including new service lines.

“What we have created is a new strategy which will see us focusing much more on delivering high quality residential developments, offering owners and tenants important amenities such as high speed broadband and space for working from home and a focus on wellbeing.

“Whilst our new vision, strategy and image represents significant change, our core beliefs and activities haven’t altered. We remain committed to building and developing great properties and providing exciting investment opportunities in the process.”

Major developments in the pipeline for 2021 include delivering dozens of new homes from office-to-residential conversions at Image House in Stafford and Shire House in Lichfield. Further developments will be announced in 2021.

Sharkey added: “We recognise the need to provide modern, functional and cost-efficient properties. So we have committed to developing properties across the UK, turning them into homes and working spaces of the future, offering features and amenities that tenants love and a great customer service at all times.”
