50 jobs to be created as new industrial scheme gets green light

How the scheme will look

Tungsten Properties, has received planning consent from Tamworth Borough Council for four new industrial and warehouse units at Amington Industrial Estate, Sandy Way in the town.

The units will range from 9,000 sq ft to 54,500 sq ft and will be available for occupation either on leasehold or freehold terms from Q1 2022. Depending on future occupiers, the units are expected to create around 50 jobs.

Jenny Clarke, development surveyor, Tungsten Properties said: “Tamworth is a thriving place which has seen high demand from businesses needing industrial and warehouse space. These units will be available not just to lease but also under freehold terms which will find proves attractive to businesses owners who want to buy their own building and commercial property investors.”

Chris Keye, director, Darby Keye added: “Tungsten Properties continues to invest in the area in project that is meeting the high demand from local businesses needing expansion space. We have already had a good level of interest, especially as it’s unusual for such new, high spec units to be available on both a leasehold and freehold basis.”
