Private investor acquires industrial unit

A Warwickshire industrial unit has changed hands in a £925,000 deal.

The 14,351 sq ft unit, at Well Spring Close, Carlyon Road Industrial Estate in Atherstone is currently let to Kelvion, a global manufacturer of heat exchangers.

Acting on behalf of a private investor, Burley Browne handled the freehold sale.

Senior associate director Ben Nicholson said: ““It is relatively rare for freehold industrial units to come to the market so we weren’t surprised to see a great deal of interest in the property from investors. We are receiving unprecedented levels of enquiries for industrial premises which in many instances results in competing interest.

“We were delighted to have concluded this deal with a private investor and this disposal further demonstrates the continued high level of demand for this style of opportunity.”

The unit comprises two interconnecting industrial buildings, with single story offices, a detached storage unit and a large, secure yard.
