Eighth successive year of record revenues at floorings firm

Victoria, the Kidderminster-based floorings manufacturer and distributor has posted an eighth consecutive year of record revenues.

For the year ending April 3, the firm turned over £662.3m despite revenues declining by 80% in the first quarter. The company has also turned a loss of £8.5m last year into a profit of £45.9m this time around.

Geoff Wilding, executive cchairman of Victoria, said: “I want to pay credit to all Victoria’s management team, who, when it really mattered, delivered an extraordinary outcome for shareholders in a challenging operational environment. The result of their efforts is that the Group is in an enviable operational and financial position to take advantage of opportunities to continue to create wealth for shareholders.”
