A West Midlands recruitment and training company is gearing up for fresh growth after moving into landmark new premises in Redditch, in a deal brokered by commercial property agency John Truslove.

Discovery has moved into Ipsley Court, a Grade II listed former 17th century country house now converted to offices.

Founder and chief executive Jonathan Evans said: “As well as a stunning workplace, Ipsley Court provides loads of car parking for our clients and staff while the surrounding Redditch area gives us access to a host of sites for our experiential training.

“We believe in learning through doing, rather than just relying on the classroom. In and around Redditch there is a range of places offering activities such as climbing or rope walking that we use as part of our training processes. And its location makes it easier for clients to get to us.

“As we come out of lockdown and can increase the amount of face-to-face training we carry out Ipsley Court will really come into its own. It is also an ideal location for our recruitment work.”

Ben Truslove secured a five year lease on the 3,407 sq ft of offices for landlords, the Sodha family.

He said: “Ipsley Court offers the ideal base for a growing international training and recruitment business like Discovery, in terms of both location and the sheer quality of premises. It provides a platform for the next stage in the company’s development and brings yet another ambitious business to Redditch.

“We now have the first floor of Ipsley Barn freshly refurbished and newly available to the market to let.

“While not all our premises are Grade II listed, we pride ourselves that we can match every company with the right property and the right landlord, creating long-term partnerships that benefit all concerned.”
