Construction consultancy expands

Construction management consultancy Poole Dick has launched a risk and compliance division, Poole Dick Plus, as part of its growth plans.

The Staffordshire-based firm has appointed former Novus Property Solutions chief executive Alan Nixon as a director of the new division

Martin Brownsill, managing director at Poole Dick, says: “As the business continues to grow and develop, Poole Dick Plus will allow us to extend our service offer to meet our clients’ changing needs.”

PD+ will provide project-based services including on-site monitoring of quality and specification conformance, principal designer duties, site safety inspections and precontract de-risking and service connection management.

It will also offer broader support in helping organisations appraise their corporate risk and compliance arrangements.

Nixon added: “Having spent over 30 years in the construction and property maintenance sectors, I know how important it is to plan effectively and manage risk so that the desired outcomes are realised.

“Poole Dick has been supporting clients in the industry for many years very successfully, and to be able to offer these wider services is a great opportunity to build on the excellent reputation they have in the marketplace.”
