Green light for business park plans

Plans for the first phase of a 10-acre business park next to Worcestershire Parkway Station have been given the green light.

Godwin Developments has been given the go-ahead to transform vacant land in Norton by Wychavon District Council.

Located next to Worcestershire Parkway Station, the development’s first phase is designed to deliver 3,500 sq m of grade A office space across two three-storey blocks.

Godwin said the scheme will contribute to the need outlined in the Local Development Plan to deliver 50 hectares of employment land by 2041.

Matt Chandler, development director at Godwin Developments, said: “Office space such as this will be essential in supporting the South Worcestershire region to thrive in the future by providing the space for businesses to grow and establish their Midlands presence.

“We’re proud to have the opportunity to play our part in this by bringing our exciting development forward.”

T/A IMA Architects and Avon Planning Services helped through the planning process.
