Property firm ends summer on a high with £23m contract haul

National build, maintenance and compliance contractor Novus Property Solutions has ended the summer on a high, winning more than £23m in new business in August and September.

The news comes just three months after Novus welcomed its new CEO Steve Davies, and just six months after the Stoke On Trent headquartered contractor announced ambitious growth targets for the next five years.

The bulk of the work has been secured through Novus’ core Maintain service, with some significant wins for the company’s Assure service too, with work set to take place across the country, from Scotland to the South East.

The business has also been appointed to five new frameworks during this period.

Davies said: “Novus has a strong reputation for its service, but when I joined the company it was obvious that there were vast reserves of untapped potential for growth within the business.

“We took some strategic decisions to focus on key business areas – creating the Maintain, Assure, and Projects services – and to concentrate our expertise on particular sectors, mainly housing, education, and healthcare. An important part of the strategy is to put our energies into securing higher value, longer term contracts that would offer better returns while maintaining ongoing relationships with our highly valued existing clients.

“The contracts we have secured in August and September are proof that this approach is already bearing fruit, and provides us with a solid foundation to build on across the next five years.”
