Work begins on development of 336 homes

Work has started on Miller Homes’ 336-home Cleve Wood development in Thornbury.

The upcoming neighbourhood, located off Morton Way and with close links to Bristol, Newport and Gloucester, will be bringing a selection of two, three, four and five-bedroom homes to the area.

As well as building 336 new homes, including 123 affordable homes, the housebuilder has also earmarked a £1.6m investment into community services, highways and green spaces for Thornbury and its surrounding areas.

Martyn Grimes, operations director for Miller Homes West Midlands, said: “We can easily see why Thornbury has consistently been recognised as one of the best places to live in the UK and we are delighted to be starting work on this latest neighbourhood, Miller Homes @ Cleve Wood, bringing beautiful new homes to such a sought-after area.

“We’ve been working closely with the local council and residents to ensure that the new development will be sympathetic to its surroundings. As well as being grateful for their feedback, we have also been inspired by their passion and pride for their local community.

“Over the course of the next few months, we’ll see our planned investment injected into the area, helping to benefit both new and existing residents, as well as giving the wider community the means to flourish further.”
