Healthcare company moves in to purpose built facility

Less than six-months after construction began, Manx Healthcare is set to move into its 26,000 sq ft purpose-built facility.

The move to Tournament Fields in Warwick offers Manx Healthcare an opportunity for continued growth with considerably larger warehouse and storage space.

Manx Healthcare has been based in Warwick for over 20 years and the move to Tournament Fields will allow the retention of staff while generating more jobs through expansion.

Laurie Taylor, marketing manager at Manx Healthcare, said: “Our continued growth as a major supplier of essential pharmaceuticals and branded healthcare products within the UK, has meant we have quickly outgrown our current premises. It was therefore important for us to complete the build of a new site in good time. Clowes Developments have far exceeded our expectations, completing the build well within schedule, which considering the issues affecting the construction industry over the last few months, was no small feat.

“We are now looking forward to relocating to our outstanding new UK headquarters at Tournament Fields and benefiting from being part of such a highly regarded logistics and distribution hub.”

Paul Shanley, developer at Clowes Developments, said: “Tournament Fields is a thriving business park located adjacent to Junction 15 of the M40 motorway, southwest of Warwick town centre.

“The business park benefits from direct access to the UK motorway network and excellent transport links to Warwick and the surrounding areas, which makes efficient business logistics a seamless process.

“Our proven track record for the delivery of such high spec, quality facilities enable us to attract and retain quality occupiers across all our developments. Tournament Fields is the perfect example of what Clowes Developments deliver for its clients across the UK.”

Construction contractors Benniman delivered this scheme.

There will now be a fit-out programme with the aim of all staff relocating to Tournament Fields in the new year.
