Content marketing agency HDY Agency has added a fine jewellery company to its portfolio of clients.

Established in 1786 in Birmingham’s Jewellery Quarter, Deakin & Francis say it is Britain’s oldest family jeweller.

Henry Deakin, managing director at Deakin & Francis: “Appointing HDY Agency marks the next chapter for our business and our growth ambitions.”

The company says it aims to create an international audience and will work with HDY in order to grow at home and Stateside.

Manufacturing ladies and gentlemen’s jewellery and accessories, the brand has recently launched a new collection and new pieces.

In addition to its Midlands base, pieces in its flagship store in Mayfair have attracted attention from stars in the recent James Bond and Kingsmen films. Jewellery is also available in Harrods and in more than 600 points of purchase globally.

Digbeth-based HDY offer creative services to develop creative content, plan brand development and create a strategy across all media.

Angel Gaskell, co-founder of HDY Agency, said: “Working with a Birmingham-based client is always a great feeling. It’s our first thing in common; then comes the passion and drive to succeed.”

In November HDY appointed its first creative director, Paul Power who has previously joined as an art director in September 2020.

The company also added to its client roster, global biotechnology company The Binding Site.

Founded by researchers at the University of Birmingham, The Binding Site provides specialist diagnostic products to clinicians and laboratory professionals around the world.

The company helps to improve patient lives and delivers medical solutions that improve the diagnosis and management of blood cancers and immune system disorders.
