Insolvency specialist makes Jewellery Quarter move

The Silverworks, a Grade II listed office property in Northwood Street in Birmingham’s Jewellery Quarter, has been let to insolvency specialists Poppleton & Appleby.

Poppleton & Appleby has taken a second floor suite of 2,469 sq ft on a ten year lease at £35,000 a year.

Partner Matt Hardy said: “Staying local to our heritage when the first offices of Poppleton & Appleby opened in Livery Street in 1885, we are taking up a rare opportunity to secure a lease with a property full of character.

“The Silverworks is located in the nearby Jewellery Quarter often described as a village within a city and we are all looking forward to the move.”

Ed Siddall-Jones, managing director of Siddall Jones, said: “The Silverworks is a stunning Grade II listed period office building arranged over three floor and built around a central courtyard.

“The building has undergone extensive refurbishment and has the original crittall windows which open on the central courtyard area and provide excellent natural light across an open plan floor.”

QualitySolicitors Davisons acted for the landlord and The Wilkes Partnership advised Poppleton & Appleby.
