Hour-long delays on M6 following multi-vehicle collision

There are long delays of 60 minutes on the M6 southbound between J7 (Walsall) and J6 (Birmingham) due to a multi-vehicle collision.

Emergency Services including Central Motorway Police Group are on scene working to clear the collision. National Highways Traffic Officers are also in attendance assisting with traffic management.

There is approximately eight miles of congestion on approach to this incident.

Road users are advised to expect disruption and to allow extra journey time.
