Major retailer signs for 185,000 sq ft warehouse in Stoke-on-Trent

A five-year lease has been agreed for Dunelm at Logicor’s Radial Point in Stoke-on-Trent.

The home furnishings retailer has taken a 184,910 sq ft warehouse in an effort to serve demand.

Dunelm worked with Logicor on its warehouse expansion plans and following its fit-out has taken immediate occupation of the site.

The retailer says the new site will help it meet customer demands and will be a key element in the growth of the business, enabling it to provide better delivery service levels.

Tom Blakely, Logicor’s director for Asset Management, said: “We are thrilled to welcome Dunelm as a new customer to our UK portfolio and to work closely alongside them. Radial Point was the ideal solution for the retailer, with the location being key to their well-established foundations in the area.

“The move also supports their focus on innovating and improving their customer proposition, as well as the growth in-home delivery and click & collect operations that resulted from the pandemic.”
