1,000 workers to relocate to 90,000 sq ft bespoke facility

Manse Opus has revealed the construction of Cadent’s new premises at Prospero Ansty Park has reached completion.

The park’s newest occupiers will relocate around 1,000 staff into its bespoke 90,000 sq ft premises in June.

Cadent joins Meggitt’s 495,000 sq ft facility completed in 2020.

Manse Opus says as with all of its developments at the Park, Cadent’s new office has been designed with sustainability in mind. The scheme has been awarded with a BREEAM Very Good rating and incorporates significant provision of photo voltaic panels both on the roof and brise soleil; rainwater harvesting; optimisation of natural lighting via a light well; significant provision of charging points; extensive landscaping and sustainable drainage systems.

The development has been forward funded by the Lime Property Fund, managed by Aviva Investors, and represents one of the largest out of town lettings in the past year.

Ranjit Blythe, Chief of Staff, Cadent said: “We see this move as an investment in our people, our culture and a critical step to create even more collaborative and sustainable operations to better serve our customers. This month we’ll be starting the exciting move into our new purpose-built office, that will bring many of our functions under one roof by relocating colleagues across from Hinckley and Coventry.

“Sustainability for us has been at the heart of what we’ve strived to create here at Ansty Park as we plan towards a net zero future. To reduce the build’s carbon footprint, we’ve sourced 85% of interior materials within a 100 mile radius and included the latest technology and energy saving measures from Photovoltaic Roof Panels, to rain water harvesting that will give us a A-rated EPC.

Victoria Turnbull, Joint Managing Director at Manse Opus said: “We have worked hard to bring forward a high- quality scheme that meets Cadent’s aims to reduce carbon emissions, and we are very proud of the outcome.”
