Nurton seals double city centre office deal

Nurton Developments has let 4,200 sq ft of office space at 4 Temple Row in Birmingham city centre.
Independent transport consultancy, Hub Transport Planning, and the Children and Family Court Advisory and Support Service, Cafcass, have taken the space.
Hub Transport Planning has moved from Hagley Road to be in the centre of the Colmore Business District as it looks to expand in Birmingham and grow its current team of seven over the next few years.
James Parker, director of Hub Transport said: “We have several cyclists in the offices who were drawn to the new bike storage, changing and shower facilities. Being so close to all the great bars and restaurants also means it’s really easy to network and socialise with our city centre clients.
“We don’t move very often. We were in our last offices for just over 10 years so the decision to relocate to 4 Temple Row had to offer the best overall package for the team.”
Parker added: “We were impressed with the recent refurbishment the offices have undergone and with both directors from Birmingham, we’re proud of the city and all it has to offer.
“It certainly feels like it’s flourishing from its time in the limelight and we’re confident this will assist with attracting top new professionals to the team or younger graduates keen to be located in the heart of this thriving city.”
Rupert Young, development director for Nurton Developments said: “We’re always keen to support long standing Birmingham businesses such as Hub Transport who want the benefits of being in the city centre and all its attractions, with space that is flexible and can adapt to their continued growth.”
Both new tenants took space at 4 Temple Row over a 10-year lease with Hub Transport signing up to 805 sq ft of space and Cafcass to 3,495 sq ft.
Young added: “We have always attracted a wide range of tenants to our multi-let offices over the years from public to private companies looking to gain a competitively priced foothold in the city.
“Cafcass also said they were attracted by the modern, bright offices. The investment has really paid off and clearly the location and its excellent local transport networks near to Birmingham New Street Station as well as Snow Hill, makes it very easy for people to travel to.”
CBRE and JLL act as joint agents on the scheme.
