Trio of vacant food and leisure units brought to market

Commercial property consultancy Burley Browne has been instructed to market three vacant food and leisure units at a leisure park in Walsall.

Two of the units, at Waterfront Leisure Park, are fitted out and ready for food operators to begin trading alongside existing tenants including a six screen Light Cinema, TGI Friday’s, Bella Italia, Subway Creams Café, and Premier Inn.

The two fitted units range in size from 3,025 sq ft to 4,380 sq ft, with a third unit of 3,060 sq ft available to be fitted out by the new occupier to their own requirements.

The site adjoins Crown Wharf Retail Park where occupiers include Asda Living, Argos, Aldi, JD Sports, Nando’s and Burger King.

Burley Browne has been instructed, with joint agent Montagu Evans, by Lothian Pension Fund to let the properties.

David Hemming, joint managing director at Burley Browne, said: “This is an exciting instruction from landlords Lothian Pension Fund, one that we expect to generate a great deal of interest from national, regional and local operators.

“Walsall’s Waterfront is a vibrant area and attracts a healthy footfall, being close to the canal and a fantastic art gallery, multi-screen cinema, cafes, bars and restaurants. The three units are ideal for food and leisure firms who will complement the great selection of operators already on site.”
