Administrators put Birmingham office building on the market

A vacant office building in Birmingham is up for sale with a price tag of £3m.

Watling Real Estate has been instructed to market Connect House on Small Heath Business Park.

Connect House extends to around 42,638 sq ft over two floors on a large site of 3.8 acres and is being sold on behalf of Michael Denny and Mark Firmin, joint administrators at Alvarez & Marsal of Electruepart.

Ben Holyhead, associate at Watling Real Estate, said: “This is a substantial property in an established business park location which is likely to be of interest to owner occupiers, investors and developers alike.”

“Situated on the arterial A45 dual carriageway, the property is well located, being close to both Birmingham city centre and the motorway network.”

“There is opportunity for single occupation of the site, sub-division or to redevelop for an alternative use, subject to planning permission. The property benefits from an existing planning consent for the construction of an additional warehouse facility and sits within an area where planning policy supports various commercial uses. ”
