Plans unveiled for 40-storey apartment tower

Plans for the latest addition to Birmingham’s skyline have been unveiled, with proposals for a 40-storey apartment tower in the city centre.

Ryland Estates Property Group is behind the scheme to build 550 units at the corner of the A38 Bristol Street and Bromsgrove Street.

The development, to be called ‘Trifecta Residences’, will comprise three blocks of six, ten and 40 storeys respectively.

There will also be opportunities for ground-floor shops, restaurants, cafes, businesses, and service uses.

The development has been designed by Stephenson Hamilton Risley Studio which designed both phases of the Exchange Square project in Moor Street Queensway in Birmingham,

The scheme will include co-working spaces, exercise facilities and shared lounges.

There will also be a large natural, biodiverse garden, with a combination of walled gardens, terraced landscaping and water features.

A planning application is to be submitted in the coming months, with a planning committee decision expected in early 2024.

The public consultation will be held at 18-20 Bristol Street, Birmingham, B5 7AA on 25th July from 2.30pm – 8pm.
