People: Richborough Commercial; Walker Crips Financial Planning

Richborough Commercial, the land promotion company launched earlier this year, has made two hires.
Alex Mortimore and Henry Wells have joined Richborough Commercial as commercial land manager and assistant land and planning manager respectively.
Mortimore has moved from Mulberry Land where he was strategic land buyer, and Wells recently graduated from the Royal Agricultral University, Cirencester.
They will support Richborough Commercial’s group director Nick Jones in bringing forward new commercial land opportunities to answer demand from developers and occupiers for quality, build-ready sites with planning permission in prime locations.
Parent company Richborough launched the commercial division in February 2023 following investment for its next growth phase from Terra Firma’s Principal Capital Group, supported by Partners Group and the Hands Family Office.
Jones said: “Since our launch just six months ago, Richborough Commercial is already promoting land capable of delivering over 10 million sq ft of floorspace for prime Industrial & Logistics space as well as employment, retail, and mixed-use developments.
“I’m thrilled to welcome Alex and Henry on board to help further unlock Richborough Commercial’s potential across the country while delivering our very best service to clients.”
