Vehicle parts company establishes new warehouse facility
An international vehicle parts company has secured a 52,000 sq ft warehouse facility in Redditch, as it looks to establish a Midlands presence.
RS Automotive Core specialises in the distribution of vehicle parts for refurbishment to companies both within the UK and globally.
The company acquires and supplies used core parts such as brake callipers, drive shafts, and steering racks, maintaining an inventory of around one million parts at any given time.
Ian Parker, joint managing director at John Truslove, facilitated RS Automotive Core in securing a ten-year lease for Unit 2, spanning 52,401 sq ft, located at Enfield Industrial Estate in Redditch.
Situated on a 2.64-acre site, this location provides the Essex-based company with a more Midlands presence, positioned at the heart of the UK’s transportation network.
Managing director Alastair Whatmor said: “The Midlands made sense for our expansion, because of the transport links and the availability of experienced automotive engineers because of the area’s historical links to the automotive market”.
RS Automotive Core was advised by lawyers at Taylor Haldane Barlex in Essex.
