Five acre site earmarked for 100,000 sq ft logistics hub

BARJANE, a real estate company specialising in industrial and logistics, has completed the purchase of a 5-acre site in Rugby from an international automotive group.

Situated within the Central Park estate, and neighbouring occupiers like Sainsbury’s, Amazon, H&M, DHL, and EVRi, this site is positioned at the core of the Midlands ‘Golden Triangle.’

The existing vacant office and workshop facility, spanning 45,317 sq ft is designated as protected employment land within Rugby Borough’s Local Plan.

This presents a redevelopment opportunity, subject to planning, to create up to 100,000 sq ft of high-quality sustainable space.

Preparations for a planning application are set to commence in early 2024, to secure a prospective occupier and initiate construction in the Autumn.
