David Keen, Aurrigo CEO

Transport technology firm Aurrigo has agreed a €580k deal with Amsterdam Airport Schiphol, for the deployment of its aviation products.

It will involve the Auto-DollyTug® baggage vehicle and Aurrigo’s Auto-Sim® aviation operations simulation software – its innovative baggage transportation solution for airports.

The Coventry-based firm is already working with British Airways owner IAG in the UK and has now extended the partnership to deploy its autonomous aviation solutions at the Cincinnati/Northern Kentucky International Airport.

Aurrigo has a separate partnership with Changi Airport Group in Singapore and Stuttgart Airport.

David Keene, CEO of Aurrigo, said: “This project with one of the world’s largest airports is a great endorsement of the capabilities of our technology and the potential of automation to improve efficiencies and solve the challenges facing modern aviation.

“We now have customers and projects on three continents for our autonomous baggage and cargo handling vehicles and simulation software.”
