Finance lender provides £11m for conversion projects

Specialist development finance lender Atelier has announced the completion of financing for two conversion schemes aimed at creating new apartments in central Birmingham.

The funding includes £4.7m for converting an office building into 15 apartments in Birmingham City Centre and £7.2m for the regeneration of a Grade II listed building, along with a new build block, into 32 apartments in Birmingham’s Jewellery Quarter.

Rav Kudhail, lending manager at Atelier, said: “We are delighted to announce the financing of two exciting conversion projects in Birmingham, situated in prime locations within the City Centre and the Jewellery Quarter. We’re looking forward to seeing these existing sites brought back to life to meet the demand for new housing in the city. “
