Shropshire law firm, Wace Morgan, has appointed a senior solicitor to its residential property team.

Cassie Chidlow joins the Shrewsbury-based firm as an associate solicitor and has more than 10 years of experience in the property sector.

She joins from another Shropshire law firm where she specialised in residential property, having previously worked at an international West Midlands law firm.

Chidlow said: “Wace Morgan has an excellent reputation for its knowledge and expertise and for giving clients a really good experience, and I’m delighted to be part of the team. I love working in residential property and the Shropshire housing market is a dynamic and exciting area to serve. Moving home can be a stressful time, but I like being able to help people through the process, and make things as smooth as possible for them.”

She is experienced in all aspects of residential property transactions, including sales and purchases, property transfers, first registrations and re-mortgages, and has also worked in the commercial property sector.

A trio of Midlands solicitors are celebrating after becoming fully qualified lawyers.

Lawyers Amelia Edwards, Rachel Raybould-Dear and Kiran Kaur have now completed their 18-month training contracts at law firm mfg Solicitors, with all three moving into specialist departments at the firm’s offices in Birmingham, Worcestershire and Shropshire.

Edwards becomes a permanent member of mfg’s a part of the probate team, based at the firm’s Kidderminster headquarters, working alongside partners Robert Weston and Andrew Chandler on a range of complex wills, probate and inheritance cases.

Rachel Raybould-Dear has joined the firm’s Commercial Property division where she will handle a variety of commercial leases, sales and property acquisition deals with clients across the UK.

Based in Telford, she will work closely with David Raymont and Lynsey Cater.

The third of the newly-qualified trio, Kiran Kaur will now be part of mfg’s corporate division, based at the firm’s Birmingham city centre offices, alongside partner, Laura Charles, as well as partners Clare Lang and James Hayes.

Kaur will advise clients on several complex business-related matters, including corporate and commercial transactions, shareholder agreements and joint venture deals.

Fleet Operations, a specialist in fleet and mobility management, has announced the promotion of David Forbes to operations director.

Forbes’ elevation follows more than a decade of service at Fleet Operations, where he has consistently exhibited exceptional skill and leadership.

As the head of the operations division for the past five years, his leadership has been crucial in not only enhancing operational efficiency but also in supporting the development of a 70-strong team.

Forbes will now chair the senior leadership team, playing a crucial role in the strategic direction and daily management of the company.
