Shropshire nursing home snapped up by care recruiter

Rylands Nursing and Residential Care Home in Newport, Shropshire has been brought by specialist care recruitment company, Frontline.

It marks the first care home acquisition for the firm.

Rylands Nursing and Residential Care Home is a ‘Good’ rated business registered to care for up to 44 residents. It occupies a converted and extended three-storey, nineteenth-century building with 39 bedrooms including two companion rooms.

The business has been under the same ownership since 2005 and was brought to market as a retirement sale.

Paul Reilly at Christie & Co facilitated the deal.

Thomas Thompson, director at Frontline said: “We are thrilled to have completed the purchase of Rylands Nursing and Residential Care Home. With some exciting plans in mind to expand and improve the business, we believe there is great growth potential and are eager to explore new opportunities at the home.”

Rylands Nursing and Residential Care Home was sold for an undisclosed figure.
