International real estate advisor Savills has announced fourteen promotions across its Birmingham and Telford offices, effective from March 2024.

The promotions see four people move up to director level, while four become associate directors and six associates. The full list of those promoted in the West Midlands is below.

BCRS Business Loans has announced the appointment of a new business development manager for Stoke-on-Trent and Staffordshire.

Mark Savill has joined the West Midlands-based business lender to support businesses across Stoke-on-Trent, Staffordshire and the surrounding areas which are looking for finance to achieve growth and make a positive contribution to the economic wellbeing of the region.

With a 30-year career at NatWest, including 15 years spent as a relationship manager in commercial banking, Mark brings a wealth of industry knowledge and expertise. He has joined BCRS having previously managed his own mortgage broker business since 2016.

Mark said: “I am really looking forward to working with the small business community and supporting SMEs with the funding they need to achieve their goals.

“My first impressions of the BCRS team have been great. I like how the organisation takes a relationship-based, face-to-face approach to lending and is committed to supporting businesses overlooked by traditional lenders. BCRS has a strong reputation as a responsible lender.”

New homes interior design firm, Edward Thomas Interiors (ETI) has strengthened its client account team with a new appointment and promotion.

Sam Jones has been promoted to Digital Account Executive while new to the team is Client Account Executive, Georgia Caroll. The pair join Directors, Steve Hird and Andy Richardson and existing Client Account Managers, Megan Doherty and Estelle Palmer to make a six-strong team.

Sam has been an integral part of ETI’s senior styling team for three years and makes the move into client account management to provide maternity cover for Megan as well as to curate additional content for the firm’s digital and social media channels.

“When we set up Edward Thomas Interiors, we wanted to be more than just a supplier, our aim was to become a trusted design partner and integral part of the wider sales and marketing function,” explains director, Steve Hird.

“This approach has helped set us apart. By establishing longstanding connections and providing a dedicated point of contact, we become an extension of the team. This has proven invaluable when developing a design concept, planning schedules or adapting to build programme movement.
