Private equity firm, NorthEdge, has announced the appointment of a new partner, promoting Andy Skinner, as it looks to continue driving growth across the Midlands.
Skinner will be responsible for continuing to scale up the business operations across the Midlands, furthering NorthEdge’s commitment to investing in the UK regions.
Holding more than 20 years’ experience in M&A, Skinner first joined NorthEdge in 2016, before being promoted to director and head of Midlands in 2020.
Since joining the business, he has led NorthEdge’s growth in the region, expanding the investment team; building a strong network of trusted partners and advisors; and supporting Midlands-based businesses including Phoebus Software, a software and services provider which supports customers to manage lending and savings products in the financial sector; Corella, an innovative technology and data services business which aims to create a more sustainable energy sector; and Friend MTS a leading global provider of content protection technology solutions.

A property consultancy has announced a raft of promotions across the West Midlands.
Fisher German has promoted 12 members of staff across its offices in Birmingham, Stafford, and Worcester, alongside a major promotion at the top of the company.
Guy Hemus, based in Fisher German’s new Birmingham office in Colmore Row, steps up to become divisional managing partner for its Property Management and Consultancy division.
Further promotions in Birmingham include Sam Bahrami being promoted to an associate, Nazia Johura becoming a senior finance manager, and Michelle Knowles becoming a senior surveyor.
Julian Forshaw, based in the Stafford office, has been promoted to associate partner. In Worcester, Tiffany Radford-Hancock has been announced as a new partner, Lauren Allcoat becomes a senior associate, Ellie Savage has become an associate, Stephanie Ross has become a senior planner, Bradley Humber has become a senior agribusiness consultant, and Izzy Speakman and Lucy
O’Hare are both now senior surveyors.

Birmingham-based HealthTrust Europe, a procurement organisation and supply chain partner for healthcare providers and the wider public sector has announced the appointment of Emma James as its new chief commercial officer from May.

Emma James comes to HealthTrust Europe with over 15 years of experience in procurement and supply chain within the public sector, most recently serving as director of Procurement and Supply Chain at Nottingham University Hospitals NHS Trust.
