Green light secured for nearly 300 Coventry homes

Developer Vistry Group has received planning permission to build 290 homes in Keresley, north of Coventry.
In September 2023, Vistry acquired two plots of land in Keresley with plans to construct 550 family homes across both sites. This latest step allows Vistry to proceed with developing 290 mixed-tenure homes on the first site.
The project will also include over £7.8m in investments for local community services.
Adam Sharpe, managing director for Vistry South West Midlands, said: “We are excited to have secured planning permission for this phase of the development in Keresley which promises to help meet the housing demand in the area.
“There is a significant need for new, high-quality, housing across multiple tenures in this area and this is a major step forward in meeting that demand. We know that buyers from all walks of life will relish the opportunity to live in modern family homes and to be part of a vibrant and well-connected new community.”
Work is expected to start on the homes later this summer.
