Transformed site nears completion as it welcomes car hire brand

A redevelopment of a neglected commercial property in Brierley Hill is nearing completion with the arrival of the global car hire brand Enterprise Mobility.

The once-derelict site on Thorn Road was acquired by West-Midlands-based property developers Stewardson Developments in 2022.

Following the investment, the location has been transformed and now has a gym and new premises for Enterprise, complete with a wash bay, valet service, secure vehicle storage area and a customer administration station.

The site also houses Retroflex, a gym and a personal training centre.

Adhel Rashid, facilities and construction specialist for Enterprise said: “Enterprise Mobility has been servicing the Stourbridge community for over a decade and we are happy to be able to bring a new, purpose-built facility to the area.

“This will enable us to provide the highest level of service to our customers and we are honoured to have played a part in redeveloping an unused and unloved piece of land within Stourbridge. The relocation, to a very visible road within Stourbridge leading to Merry Hill shopping centre, will ensure longevity of the 10 members of staff currently working within Stourbridge with the potential for further additions over the coming year.”
