Birmingham set to welcome clay shooting experience

Piccadilly Arcade

Birmingham’s Piccadilly Arcade is set to welcome Clays, London’s indoor interactive clay shooting experience.

Property company Hortons has arranged a 25-year lease for Clays on a retail and leisure space on New Street.

The new venue will feature group clay shooting with new technology and offer a menu of food and cocktails.

Clays will provide a unique shooting experience with options for semi-private or private rooms and a choice of six digital games.

This will be Clays’ third location, expanding beyond London’s Canary Wharf and The City. The Birmingham site is expected to open in late 2024.

What the bar will look like

Nina Meeks of Hortons, said: “Clays has reinvented a traditional country sport by combining an exciting virtual shooting experience with beautiful bar environments. Its arrival at Piccadilly Arcade complements our existing range of independent tenants, and brings a unique proposition to the competitive socialising arena in Birmingham.”

Tom Snellock, CEO of Clays, said: “The last twelve months have been an incredibly exciting time for Clays, and I’m so glad that we can officially announce our expansion into Birmingham. Piccadilly Arcade is a building steeped in history, so it’s fantastic that we can now be a part of that. We’re looking forward to welcoming guests into Clays Birmingham and continuing to grow across the country – this is only the beginning!”
