Pub and microbrewery hits market with six-figure price tag

A property with its own microbrewery, The Windsor Castle in Lye, Stourbridge, is now on the market at a starting price of £475,000 through West Midlands-based commercial property agents Siddall Jones.

Alongside its microbrewery, the site includes a private gin bar and four bedrooms, previously used for bed and breakfast accommodation.

At the rear of the property lies the Printworks Brewery, originally part of Sadler’s Brewery and rebranded in 2019.

It features a brewery, fermenting rooms, and cold storage facilities with the capacity to produce up to 60 barrels per week.

The property also includes a taproom and additional storage space, housed within a steel portal frame building with concrete flooring.

Ed Siddall-Jones, managing director of Siddall Jones, said: “The Windsor Castle is a well-known local landmark, being a former free house, brewery and gin distillery and tap room. The property was adapted over the years to also provide letting rooms and office space available for rental and is now available to purchase with vacant possession.”
