People: Strategi Solutions Group; BTG Advisory; Kids’ Village

Strategi Solutions Group, a provider of HR, creative design, marketing and learning and development services is delighted to announce the appointment of Rob Fisher as CEO.

Previously managing director of Strategi Solutions Group, Fisher has been with the business since October 2016 and this appointment is part of the company’s longer-term succession plan.

Originally joining the business as director of HR Services, his career has spanned several HR and leadership roles, including for Staffordshire business Ornua Nutrition Ingredients.

Fisher has developed his role during his time with Strategi and supports the local area by sitting on various boards throughout the area, giving his free time and experience to support other organisations.

Wendy Dean will assume the role of founder and chair as part of this change.

Fisher said: “I’m thrilled to take on the role of CEO and build on the incredible foundation that Wendy has established. Having been with the company since 2016, I’ve seen firsthand the dedication and innovation that drives us and the legacy that Wendy has created for us all.

“This is a great opportunity for me and the Strategi team, and as we look to the future, I’m committed to leading with a focus on growth and continuing to deliver exceptional service to our clients and partners.  I have some extremely talented people around me who have been with us for a long time and understand our vision for our path to further success”

Wendy Dean said: “As the business grows, we need to stay on track with our ambitious plans. It’s an absolute pleasure to appoint Rob as CEO. I’m excited to continue to work on my two main passions of celebrating and supporting women through projects such as sitting on the board of Women of the Year Awards (WOTY), Level 7 Apprenticeship for Women Leaders and the Foundation of Education Development (FED) linking education and business together.

BTG Advisory, part of the Begbies Traynor Group, has appointed Sannan Khan as the National Lead for investigation, integrity and compliance services within its UK-wide forensics team.

Khan, an Accredited  Counter Fraud Specialist (ACFS) and an Associate of the Institute of Chartered Accountants in England and Wales (ACA) joins the firm from an advisory firm, bringing with him nearly a decade of experience in managing complex, cross-border financial and non-financial investigations.

Throughout his career, he has played a pivotal role in helping global organisations design and implement comprehensive ethics and compliance frameworks.

His work has included the establishment of robust anti-fraud, whistleblowing, anti-bribery and anti-corruption programmes.

Khan’s ability to develop strategic solutions and guide organisations through complex compliance challenges has resulted in strengthened corporate integrity, reduced exposure to fraud and misconduct and improved risk management practices.

Kids’ Village, a holiday village for children with critical illness, has announced the appointment of Lucy Hudson, managing director at McCann Birmingham, as a Board Trustee.

Hudson’s appointment follows the recently announced partnership between Kids’ Village and McCann Birmingham, which will see the integrated marketing and creative agency provide ongoing marketing consultancy, as well as a range of fundraising initiatives to support the charity’s mission.

Hudson brings a wealth of leadership and marketing expertise to the Board, alongside a deep personal commitment to the cause.

She said: “Kids’ Village is a truly inspiring initiative, and I am honoured to join as a Board Trustee. This is a cause close to my heart, as I understand how uncertain and difficult life can be for families facing critical illness. The Village will provide a sanctuary for children and their loved ones, and I am passionate about helping to make this vision a reality. Supporting initiatives like Kids’ Village is also an important way to give back to the region and make a tangible difference in our local communities.”
