Morgan Sindall Group secures two places on £3bn framework

THREE West Midlands construction companies have been appointed to a £3bn development framework in the region.
Morgan Sindall, the Rugby-based construction and infrastructure specialist, and Tamworth affordable housing builder Lovell will work together as ‘Community Solutions West Midlands’ on the ‘Constructing West Midlands’ framework.
Both companies are part of the London-based construction and design plc Morgan Sindall Group and will join three other contractors on the framework – Stourport-based Thomas Vale, Willmott Dixon and Mansell.
The appointments have been made by Birmingham City Council and the four-year framework covers contracts costing over £500,000.
It has the potential to be extended to eight years and is available to all public sector bodies within the West Midlands region.
Group chief executive Paul Smith said: “This is a major framework and we are delighted that two of the group’s divisions have secured positions on it.
“Morgan Sindall and Lovell working together as Community Solutions West Midlands is a further example of the complementary nature of our divisions’ capabilities and the benefit this brings to our group.”
