Accessible travel firm for people with disabilites secures £6.5m

Limitless Travel, a company specialising in accessible holidays for people with disabilities, has secured £6.5m in Series A funding to fuel its expansion.
The funding round was led by venture capital firm Beringea, with support from Social Impact Enterprises, Adjuvo, Active Partners, Miroma Ventures and existing investors including Nigel Wray.
Founded in 2015 by Angus Drummond, who was diagnosed with Muscular Dystrophy at 22, Birmingham-based Limitless Travel has provided thousands of holidays and cruises for disabled travellers.
The investment will support Limitless Travel’s expansion into new destinations, as the firm hopes to improve its holiday offerings, invest in technology, and reach new customer demographics.
Angus Drummond, Limitless Travel CEO said: “We’re thrilled to announce our £6.5m Series A raise, marking a major milestone in what’s set to be a momentous year for Limitless Travel. This investment is not only a game-changer for our business, but also for disability travel as a whole. It will allow us to further enhance the quality and range of our holidays, expand into new products and destinations, and accelerate our international growth.
“Accessible travel should never be an afterthought, it’s one of the largest and fastest-growing sectors in the industry. Disabled travellers and their families and companions deserve nothing but the best, and that is what Limitless provides. With the support of our investors, we’re now in the strongest position yet to lead the charge and show the world the true power of disability travel.”
Kiu Kim, Beringea’s investment director said: “Angus and the team have built an exceptional business. Not only is Limitless Travel growing rapidly, but it is also having a huge impact on the lives of its customers – opening up new experiences and destinations for people who previously struggled to access these trips of a lifetime. Beringea is hugely excited to see where this business heads and the impact that we can drive together.”
