Double joy for Rewired

BIRMINGHAM PR consultancy Rewired is celebrating two new client wins after picking up contracts from Cadbury World and BRMB.

The PR and events firm has been appointed as the retained agency for Cadbury World, and will help the attraction to promote a range of activities during its 20th anniversary year. Rewired is already retained by Cadbury UK to promote its community programme and employee volunteering activity.

Rewired has also been appointed by radio station BRMB to support the 2010 Walkathon, following the announcement that the 26 mile event will return in June after an 18 year break. The sponsored Walkathon aims to raise over £250,000 to help fund a military support facility at the new Queen Elizabeth Hospital in Birmingham for injured troops returning from Afghanistan.

Ruth Ward, managing director of Rewired PR said: “As a Birmingham agency we’re really pleased to be working with two great home-grown brands. Cadbury World is a fantastic venue and to be supporting the attraction during its 20th anniversary year is a real privilege.

“The eagerly anticipated return of the BRMB Walkathon has already got plenty of people talking and we’re looking forward to helping raise awareness for the event and the charity that it will be supporting.”
