BPP take more space at Two Colmore Square

BPP Professional Education has increased the space it leases at Nurton Developments’ Two Colmore Square office building in Birmingham to 17,000 sq ft.
The firm – a training organisation – has been operating in Birmingham since 1992, first moving to Two Colmore Square at the end of 2010, taking 13,550 sq ft on a 15 year lease.
Adam Temple, managing director of BPP’s Birmingham centre said: “Colmore Square provides an excellent base for us to expand.”
Birmingham’s Nurton developments has owned Two Colmore Square since 2006, extensively refurbishing it together with the adjoining Cannon House in two main phases, costing more than £10m.
Joint agents on Two Colmore Square, Will Ventham from CBRE and George Jennings from GVA, acted on behalf of Nurton Developments. London agent Jaggard Baker acted on behalf of BPP.
Meanwhile, BskyB has taken circa 1,500 sq ft at Trigate on the Hagley Road and Carmague PR has renewed its five year lease at Nurton’s 11 Waterloo Street.
Rupert Young from Nurton Developments said: “We have been very active across our portfolio in the past few months and continue to add value to our schemes which range from landmark offices to multi-let industrial estates.
“Our strength is in creating high quality working environments to suit all levels of businesses and working with tenants to achieve long term relationships.”
